Elevation Disassembled/ Reassembled
Let's breakdown the disassembly of your Ice-O-Matic cuber. Just grab your trusty screwdriver and let's get started!
Start by removing the panel and interior components. Next, tackle the water trough. This part can get a bit tricky, but don't worry! Pull the trough back, tuck the tube in, let the back of the trough drop and pull it out. Your ice machine is now ready to be cleaned!
Since you now have access to the internal components let's find out how to properly disassemble and reassemble them.
Let's begin with the water pump. First, detach the water tube and twist the pump until its loose. Next, squeeze the tabs on the wire harness to relase the pump. To reinstall the pump, connect the wires. Then, ensure your male adaptor is in a one o'clock position and twist it clowise until it tightens.
Next, we'll take it easy with the water level assembly. Begin by disconnecting the 3 wires, then press down on the middle button for the assembly to come off.
Last up is the float assembly. Simply unbuckle the clips on both sides. Once it's open, twist to release the floats and the anti-slush thermostat will slide off. To put it back together, make sure the adjustment arm is facing the front. Then, push the wires through and connect them to their corresponding spots.
