Touchless ice kits are the perfect solution for high traffic businesses, helping minimize contamination. These kits feature a sensor that detects when a cup is placed under the ice chute, automatically triggering the ice to dispense.
To install your kit, start by unplugging the unit and removing the ice chute lever. Next, remove the Phillips screws to take off the control box cover. Once the cover is removed, unplug the ice lever switch and the solenoid connectors. Then, attach the ctroller to the unit and connect the harnesses. Reconnect the solenoids to the control connectors. Finally, attach the new touchless ice assembly and connect it to the to the control board.
